I know that it is possible to download the full version including all the cab files etc using certain switches from the Start - Run window, but cannot remember how to do it.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in anticipation.
Nick

SolutionYou have to swear on a stack of virtual bibles that you have the proper license for doing this but it never checks or asks for any kind of proof.
Then you use IEAK to choose and download the IE components you want onto a file on your PC. It then makes the whole mess into what it considers a custom version of IE install which you can copy onto a CD and carry over to the non online hardware.

Re: Installing internet explorer full version
Ron is right on, as usual. If you're not in a hurry, you can order it on CD from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ordercd/ie6sp1.asp
Good luck!
Roger
Hey Ron:
Here's a heart check for you: scvhost.exe!
Sorry. That wasn't funny. Sorry about your mess.
