Internet Printing
I am using Win95 & Novell 4.11 printing to an HPLJ5simx through a Jet Direct print server. I cannot print from internet or print preview, but office applications print OK. I have reinstalled the printer and have had no success. Would it help if i replaced the relevant .inf file? Other users on different PCs can print OK from internet. Any suggestions/ideas muchly appreciated...
Thanks in advance..

Re: Internet Printing
Your clues here should be that "other users on different PCs can print OK from internet" and "office applications print OK." Try copying a web page to Word (you can use file menu/edit w/ MS Word if it is available) and see if it prints from there. If it does, then issue is w/ MS IE. If this is the case, you might try to go to IE's "view" menu and set encoding to "Western European" or to "Unicode" and see if that makes a difference. You might also try to install a LaserJet 4+ driver and use it instead.
It is what it is.

Re: Internet Printing
I would have to ask what the other users are doing to print.
Do they have a newer OS? Win 95 is a bit old.
Do they have newer software?
More info needed to help.
