Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1

Hi All,
Currently i'm using MBSA to scan remote pc. As usssual i used this tool to knowing what a missing patches from windows update and etc.
The requirements for running MBSA has been followed (from help menu).
But the result is 'User is not an administrator on the scanned machine'. This msg comes up if I running from MBSA menu.

But, if I running from command-line like this "mbsacli /target 172.16.20.197 /wi /mu /u taufan.budiman /p bti007" it would be show msg "Scan Complete.
PANIN\OPAN-BTI (172.16.20.197) Could not resolve the computer name: OPAN-BTI. P
ease specify computer name, domain\computer, or an IP address. "

For info, both computer are join to domain and using login user in group user.

Can anybody give me a clue, how to solve my problem.

Thank's for help

Re: Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1

Have you tried running MBSA as domain administrator. This user is automatically made "local administrator" when a pc is joined into domain.

Hi Carlsen ,
Thank for reply.

With Administrator domain, I can do a remote scan pc client and succesfully.

But when both computer using local Administrator ( not join domain ) it can't work. The message 'User is not an administrator on the scanned machine'

Even if my login domain, include in administrator group domain, I can't still scan remote pc client.
