We have the auto attendant setup and it is working great. We want to add we are closed and we are closed for the holidays type messages. However given the way the NBX works I have to have a we are open message. I would like to export the current auto attendant menu and edit it on my PC. I will cut off the first 7 seconds of the current menu and make that the open message and then import the remainder of the message as the menu. Is there a way to export or download the auto attendant wav file from the NBX?

SolutionFirst, which file are you using? In order to find out, go to NBX Messaging, click on Auto Attendant, click on Menu Tree.. you will then see the name of the prompt, for example, aamenu.wav
then you can ftp into the nbx and go to /htfs0/R6_5_22/NBoss/aa/adpcm (presuming you are running 6.5.22 here, if not, just change the version you are running)
If you are running SIP and using g7111, it would be /htfs0/R6_5_22/NBoss/aa/mulaw.
Then you can edit it on your PC.. A word of caution.. I would advise you not change the aamenu.wav file.
Rather, edit it on your pc, rename it to something else, then import it using the NBX Messaging/Auto Attendant/click on one/Prompt.. Then rename it in the AA that you want.. It is much safer that way!!!

Re: export or download auto attendant menu wav file from nbx
I also need to download the .wav files used in AA. I can connect via FTP and I see the sub-directories but I can't go any further. They are in a "funky" format and won't let me select them. Where can I find the .wav files and how can I save them off? I am running v4.2.7.
Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated.
Example:
FTP root at 192.168.8.44
