SIP protocoll
Im running NBX 6.5.22 with SIP.
I have open port 5060 in my firewall and get registration with my SIP application.
I can make a call but i cant hear anything and the reciver cant hear me.
What other ports need to be open in firewall?
Best Regards
Magnus

Re: SIP protocoll
Found this in 3KB
5060 - 5065 TCP and UDP
If APPS server is used: 5060 - 5092 TCP and UDP 5004 UDP and port ranges configured in the Conference Server Configuration screen in the APPS web.
Port 2093 is required for phones to receive their download image.
4800-5300 TCP and UDP
6000 - 6140 TCP and UDP
8000 - 8140 TCP and UDP - this is RTP audio
16348-32768 (UDP for RTP and TRCP multimedia streaming if used)
10000 (if using sipgate Stun service)

Re: SIP protocoll
3CX ? Not sure I am familiar with that one ....
Looks like a standard SIP_ tel but it is not certified with us ...
There is a check box to send all traffic tcp on the outside tunnel but I am nto sure how this feature works ....
Are you using an internal IP address or an external network IP address ?

Re: SIP protocoll
Aside from Firewall settings, Did you check the codec setup at both Sending and Receiving parties? If you find codec setup match at both ends, then you can also check if enough bandwidth is available for the chosen codec.
In the past I had similar issues with the 3CX Softphone, and indeed it was related to codec mismatch, and when I matched the codecs (I have chosen G711), I did not have enough bandwidth between the two sites to support that codec (It was VPN over Internet connection between the two sites)

Re: SIP protocoll
Check and see if your firewall has "SIP enabled checked". I have had issues with this box checked.. users would get no audio.
