Digital Designs "PERS" System DTMF Signalling
Does anyone have any experience with a Digital Designs "PERS" System and its DTMF signaling on an FXS gateway?
It appears that a signalling unit connects to a key system that then uses an FXO port to call a number to reach a central station receiving unit and then sends a series of DTMF tones to send alarm data to the central station.
Right now I have the key system FXO ports and a central station receiving unit on the same FXS gateway. The signaling unit (via the key system on x3207) calls the central station unit (x3210). The call goes through and the central station sees the CLID of the calling unit (x3207) but the DTMF signaling seems to have an issue. The central station reports incorrect or incomplete message (DTMF signals).
I am set for early media, I have tried DTMF transparent and RFC2833 (both devices are on the same gateway).
The digital designs support tech wanted to know if our gateway supports "full range DTMF".
Right now I am trying to determine exactly what DTMF tones are being sent as part of the signaling process and what device sends them (the initiating device or the key system) to see if I can add pauses between dialing the number to establish the call (3210) and the sending of the DTMF signals or at least be able to look for the signaling string in the gateway log to determine if it is all there.
thanks in advance
