Disable Port Forwarding HPE 5120 EI Switch Series
I'm using the HPE 5120 EI Switch Series, I need to disable port forwarding because it flagged on a nessus vulnerability scan. Keep in mind im not using my switch as a router. Anyone have any ideas?
This is what the results say but please visit link for more details: https://www.tenable.com/plugins/nessus/50686
"The remote host has IP forwarding enabled. An attacker can exploit
this to route packets through the host and potentially bypass some
firewalls / routers / NAC filtering.
Unless the remote host is a router, it is recommended that you disable
IP forwarding.
