HPE1920S: Port flushing Down/Up at the same time on multiple switches
Hi,
We have number of HPE OfficeConnect Switch 1920S 24G 2SFP (JL381A), software version PD.02.15 (the same was on PD.02.06). All switches are connected to one switch in the center ("Star" scheme) HPE OfficeConnect Switch 1920S 48G 4SFP (JL386A), sw ver is the same - PD.02.15
Time to time the can see, that at least on some JL381A switches all ports are going down, and than, after few seconds, up. But it occurs on multiple switches on the same time. On log of some switches we see the following messages
Nothing else. No any other info.
Switch uptime is more than 20 days, so it's not a power problem.
Please help me to find the reason of this.
WBR, Vadim

Re: HPE1920S: Port flushing Down/Up at the same time on multiple switches
Hello,
Can you check logbuffer during the issue on JL386A & JL381A?
Need to check the error messages. Can you share spanning tree settings?
Thanks!

Re: HPE1920S: Port flushing Down/Up at the same time on multiple switches
@vadamlyuk When the issue happens, are the clients loosing the network connectivity, or just that you are seeing the link up/down events in the logs?
Are these events seen only on the ports connected to end hosts (PCs/Laptops etc), type configuring these ports as spanning tree Edge ports.
Check if the NIC drivers can be upgraded on the end hosts if the issue is specific to few systems with similar hardware/os.
