Question re j9650 ap and 720 controller

We have an issue where after setting initial IP/network discovery, etc., in AP and then synching with controller, when unplugged and then plugged in again it is not recognized and has to be reset.  Is there a firmware issue?

Using 5.7 on 720 controller and trying to use a 1/2 class IP range..
