MSM 765zl Controller team firmware update

I'm about to have a controller team. I have 5.4.2 version in my future Controller Team Manager. when i recently update my msm765zl firmware they ask me for evidence that my controller is no more than one year old, and HP give me a ftp address to download the new firmware version.

So, in manuals i read that if you update controller team manager, all the controllers update too, but, what if the other controllers are more than one year old and i have no special guarantee for them?.

Hi Marcos

The age of the controller shouldn't matter. However if something goes amiss and your OOW controller bricks, your only option is buying a new one.
