MSM710: Internal DHCP Guest VSC & External DHCP Corp VSC
Is it possible to configure the MSM710 to refer to an external DHCP server for the Corp VSC, but handle Guest VSC DHCP requests internally? What is the preferred method of configuring DHCP for a Guest VSC (192.168.1.x) while keeping the Corp VSC (10.0.1.x) directed to an external DHCP server?
Ideally, I'd prefer all Guest VSC users to be directed solely out the Internet port, but I'm beginning to think that is not possible.

Re: MSM710: Internal DHCP Guest VSC & External DHCP Corp VSC
I've tried numerous ways to set up the Guest VSC. Preferred method would be to send all traffic on the Guest VSC out the Internet port where a Cisco ASA 5505 is waiting to respond to DHCP requests. As far as I've been able to determine, DHCP requests cannot be sent out the Internet port.
It looks like what I'm going to have to do is route the Guest VSC out the LAN port, which is connected to a Procurve 2910. DHCP for both the Corporate and Guest VSC will be handle by an external DHCP server. Connect the public-configured port of the 5505 to the 2910 to route Guest VSC traffic out to the internet.
Do not use the Internet port for anything appears to be the solution?
Seriously, though: Is there no way to send DHCP requests from the Guest VSC out the Internet port to the 5505? The Internet port itself can be issued an IP address by the 5505 if I set the port to DHCP.

Re: MSM710: Internal DHCP Guest VSC & External DHCP Corp VSC
Was able to get in touch with HP support today. Ran into an issue where the 710 now refuses to talk to the 5505. The 710's Internet port (192.168.10.2) is connected directly to port 3 on the 5505 (192.168.0.1)...but they can't ping each other, even though they were able to earlier in the day. The 5505 can also issue an IP address to the 710's Internet port when it's configured for DHCP, but they still can't ping each other afterwards.
If anyone has any idea why this might be, please let me know. I'm currently waiting for an HP L2 engineer to call.
