problem with dhcp requests - managment vlan.
We are using MSM760 team controllers for msm units 430/425 and 460 access points. the managment ip of the MSM AP's is distributed within untaged vlan by reserved ip from our central DHCP server. in each branch we are tagging vlan to the MSM access points witch provide hotspot users local breakout to the www.
We are facing disconecting problem of MSM access points from the MSM controller team when they request new ip address. the MSM access points getting DHCP from the local router ip pool used for the hotspot users.
We will like to know if HP having solution for this problem, while the MSM AP is not authorize the DHCP on the untagged vlan for managment.
Thanks in advance for your support.

Re: problem with dhcp requests - managment vlan.
You didn't mention your FW version, but there's a matching fix in 6.4.2:
[ 151413, 155992 ] (Applies to use of external DHCP servers.) Upon IP address renewal, wireless
clients lose network connectivity, even though they remain associated with the AP.
You're entitled for FW upgrades if your controller was purchased before Aug 1 2013 and you have a registered SW support contract. If your controller was purchased on or after that date, you have received a 3y SW support contract wiht the purchase.
So if you're entitled either way, go and upgrade. That should do it.

Re: problem with dhcp requests - managment vlan.
Thanks for the reply.
Our software ver is : 6.4.1.0-17746.
We are going to upgrade the controllers ver to 6.4.2, but right now we have other problem pops up on our team settings. we addad new controller to the team, but he keeps hanging on "uploading configuration". once this problem is solved we can plan the ver upgrade.
This is the log from the new member:
