Pushing DNS servers through DHCP with 3CRWER100-75
Hi,
I have a 3CRWER100-75 in my office, but I have this
issue.
We need to use a private DSN servers (outside the
wireless network) to make our services work best,
but the Router prepends it's IP to the DNS servers
list in the DHCP reply

unfortunately this product works that way as this is an SMB product, higher end firewall will give you more flexibility

Re: Pushing DNS servers through DHCP with 3CRWER100-75
Practically you are saying him: hey guy, buy a costly product if you want a simple feature!
I think this is a bad policy, especially for a company as 3com is. The requested feature is a basical one and I personally think it should be implemented by default, I consider this missing feature a bug even for a cheap product like the one he bought.
I was considering to buy one of your enterprise routers, but I think I'll go for a different vendor: bigger products, bigger problems, bigger expenses for solutions.
