Self restarting MSM760 after firmware upgrade
Hi
One of my msm760 is restarting every 35 minutes after a firmware upgrade to 5.5.2.1
The only thing I can see in the logs is..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jun 22 10:25:58 debug iprulesmgr Updated the association of station (mac-address='00:A0:98:26:C3:77') attached to (virtual-ap-index='1', interface-name='eth1', vlan='0').
Jun 22 10:25:56 debug monitord do_restart factory=0 cause=do_normal_restart
Jun 22 10:25:56 info monitord Normal RESTART initiated (reason=excessive restarts, 20 restarts in 5 minutes after 30 minutes of uptime)
Jun 22 10:25:56 debug monitord Stopping [147,8]: 'lcd_greyhound' [pid 9396, up for 10 sec(s)]
Jun 22 10:25:52 debug iprulesmgr Updated the association of station (mac-address='00:40:F4:65:0E:61') attached to (virtual-ap-index='1', interface-name='eth1', vlan='0').
Jun 22 10:25:46 debug monitord Starting [147,3]: 'lcd_greyhound' (pid='9396')
Jun 22 10:25:44 debug monitord Stopping [146,8]: 'lcd_greyhound' [pid 9335, up for 10 sec(s)]
Jun 22 10:25:33 debug monitord Starting [146,3]: 'lcd_greyhound' (pid='9335')
Jun 22 10:25:32 debug monitord Stopping [145,8]: 'lcd_greyhound' [pid 9269, up for 11 sec(s)]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It only hapens in one of the MSM760, and there seems to be no diference in configuration with the others that work fine.
I've already tried 'reflashing' the firmware, but the problem remains.
Is there any way of 'altering' the way monitord handles restarts??
Thx
Ismael

Re: Self restarting MSM760 after firmware upgrade
The MSM760 was replaced by HP after that...

Re: Self restarting MSM760 after firmware upgrade
Had the same problem for me going from 5.3 to 5.4 on a MSM765zl. HP replaced the flash and hdd.
Next upgrade, we reset to defaults first, then did the upgrade. That worked.
Regards,
Steve.
