What if MSM765 fails?

Hello,

I have the following wuestion:

If the MSM765 Controller fails, how is WLAN Infrastructure affected?

Do the APs work without a Controller (of cource the ones in controlled mode)?

Thanks,

Frank

Re: What if MSM765 fails?

APs will continue to operate with the config they have; don't power them off.

If nothing requires the controller, all operations will continue as normal. However, if you have any functions being performed by the controller, they will also not work if the controller is not present (eg DHCP, access controlled mode, 802.1x proxy, etc).
