Best Practice Blocksize Windows Server on a virtual Server (Vsphere8) on MSA2062
Hi, on a new installation vSphere 8 on a MSA2062 (SAS, Raid6,), what blocksize (in Windows Server OS) will be the best with a virtuall server MS server 2019 /2022?
I do not found any information in the HPE best practice.
Thanks a lot!

@werner.zeller
Typically the default block sizes are used with no issues. The MSA storage uses 4MiB pages to store all data so changes at the OS side typically don't align to that size and therefore make no difference. You can review the MSA 2060 Virtual Storage technical guide and MSA 2060 best practices guide for more information on how the MSA operates.
As you are early in the process here I would suggest you look at the RAID level MSA-DP+ as an option it has a number of advantages if you ever plan on expansion.
