in my case, the primary issue was an old firmware release .... i removed all disk, upgraded firmware, reinsserted all disk and found 2 hhd broken (was a reaid 6 ... i'm luky...)

I'm also interested in the solution, we have the same problem with one of our MSA.

No matter if we loose disks, data have been already copied on an other MSA.

Thaks if someone can mail me the needed commands to recover these disks...

I tried the remove disk-groups unrecoverable groupname command but, unfortunately, it's doesn't works. The MSA repsond "Error: The command was not recognized. - This command is not authorized for this user."

Hello!

You must to create new user with role diagnostic with strong password # create user <new username> role diagnostic

log into CLI using the new diagnostic user account and execute remove disk-groups unrecoverable <groupname>

I also have a same problem as below when running a dequarantine command on the CLI of MSA2050

Error: The requested operation cannot be completed because the target disk group is an internal component. - Disk group dgA01 was not dequarantined.

Can somebody send me the post/solution that was posted by andersonvinicio and removed by the moderators?

HPE is not providing support for my unit because of the location/country.
