Controller offline
Hi
We have two Sans with dual controllers, one msa1000 when we log on says it is in active / standby and both controllers are online, the other, the one we had the problem with, states active / standby but one controller states that it is offline, we have disabled it and removed and reseated but it is still offline, we can't find any reference on how to make this controller online, any ideas on how we get both controllers online, we've checked the ACU and there is nothing in there either all that allows us to do is disable it.
Thanks

Re: Controller offline
This is strange, we upgraded the ACU and it still should offline then we attached through the com port to the controller and ran show connections and it stated it was online when we went back to the ACU it was online and fine, it previously had been showing offline for over 24hrs, any ideas what could cause this, no driver upgrades etc were done.

Re: Controller offline
What firmware is this using. Have you tried a full power down and restart? If its old firmware, you could try upgrading is to see if that upgrades both controllers and they come back online after the power cycle.
