Emulex FC2243 Controller
Does anyone know if there is white paper or best practices paper on the settings on this particular controller or maybe fiber channel HBA's in general. Currently the device is set to factory defaults and I want to get a better understanding of the settings to see if there is anything I can do to increase performance.
I am using the controller to access a MSA1500 CS that has 4 MSA20 cabinets connected to it. I am doing disk to disk to tape backups and there seems to be a bottleneck at the Emulex card.
Any direction or hints would be appreciated.
Thanks
Greg Pagan
