Emulex LP8000
Dear All,
I've a cluster formed by two Proliant ML370 equipped with a Emulex LP8000 fiber optic controller, connected to a emc2 storage.
Now, I'd like to replace emc2 storage with an HP MSA1000 but I don't know if that controller is compatible with new hardware and if yes, if I have to reinstall cluster sw.
Regards
Alberto Brivio

Re: Emulex LP8000
You don't mention what operating system you are dealing with. If it is Windows 2000/2003 - the DS-KGPSA-CB (the HP-branded version of the LP-8000) is supported on the MSA1000.

May be you need to flash HP firmware

I think you will need to change your multipath software.
