How to find out the serial number of HBA card?

Hi all,

I installed HBA card in the Solaris machine and OpenVMS machine that will connect to HP SAN switch. How can I get the serial number for these HBA card from Solaris or OpenVMS machine (in command line)?

In Solaris, I use the following command
Command: spmgr display -cv
that only give the WWID and controller serial number ( that is not the HBA card inside the solaris machine ).

You do need to look onto the sticker that is attached to the card to get at the HP serial number. There is a serial number programmed into the card that can be queried by some utilities, but this is the manufacturer number.

As the HP FCA2257p 2GB FC HBA card is installed inside the machine, I cannot read the sticker at all and also cannot get it from the vendor. That is why I want to use command to get the serial number of these HP HBA card.
Because HP requires these serial number of HBA card for making an new hardware maintenance.
