HP SANS Storage Configuration Issue

We can see the array controller through diagnostics but not through the configuration utility. Why?

You don't give much details, but I guess you have a MSA1000 storage array and have booted from the MSA1000 software CD-ROM. I have found that I first had to call the ADU (Array Diagnostic Utility) - after this the ACU (Array Configuration Utility) was able to find the controller.
