HP StorageWorks 4/8 Base Switch

This is a brocade switch but looking on Brocade's web site I am unable to locate the MIB definition file that supports this device.

Can someone send me a link to that MIB definition file.

Believe it is: brocade RFC1213 mib

Re: HP StorageWorks 4/8 Base Switch

I have sent my customer the v 5.3 MIB from HP but they said it does not parse correctly. That was about 4 months ago and now they are saying it does not work. So sent them, what is likely the same file as I downloaded just now again. But really hoping for a link from Brocade

David:

What firmware version is the switch running?

Re: HP StorageWorks 4/8 Base Switch

The device was shipped to the customer in July 2007. It is now being installed, so unfortunatey I do not know but not sure that should matter too much for the MIB definition file unless the brocade itself can produce the file.

David,
This link references all the Fabrics available:
http://www.brocade.com/education_services/docs/bcsm/53-1000439-01_MIB_v5.3.pdf
You will need to cross reference this with the FOS you are running.
Under the lid the switch is identical to the Silkworm 200e range, there is a link here but cannot recommend live usage of content.

Re: HP StorageWorks 4/8 Base Switch

I have the education document as well but what I need is the actual MIB file.

I am guessing I require a support contract to get it but was hoping they would freely share that file. And really was just me who could not find it ...
