HPE MSA 2060 and server HPE ProLian DL360.
Dear All,
I have HPE MSA 2060 FC. I connected storage to HPE PoLian 360. In host i see a storage disk. MPIO is enabled. I must connect MSA storage to wirtual machine on hyper-v host. I enabled MPIO in virtual machine and ad virtual Fiber Chanel in HYPER-V HOST. Shoul I use FC switch with NPIV to map initiator from Hyperv-host?

Yes a switch connection is required to utilize Virtual Fibre Channel adapters. You can see this noted in SPOCK (https://www.hpe.com/storage/SPOCK) as Virtual Fibre Channel Adpaters are not supported in Direct Connection. Note that the Hyper-V instance will already have a connection with the MSA and LUNs can be presented to the Hyper-V instance and then re-presented to the VM as an altrenative.

Re: HPE MSA 2060 and server HPE ProLian DL360.
Hi,
as JohnPaul says, normally you do not Pass-Through the Volume direct to the VM.
Present the Volume to the Host(s), create a DataStore (CSV) where you create Virtual Disks for every VMs.
Doing this way, the VM needs no MPIO.
If you do a direct Pass-Through, you will lose all the great Virtual Features like Snapshots, Backup, Storage V-Motion, ...
Search in YouTube for hyper-v csv virtual volume
There are a lot of How-To.
