hpEVA VSS Hardware Provider error
We just bought a new SAN an HP EVA 6000 and I'm working on it to use VSS Backup with Backup 10D (10.1). Unfortunately the VSS Backup works well the first time (after a reboot) but the next ones fails.
We installed the 3 recommended post SP1 hotfixes regarding VSS.
We're using hpEVA VSS HW Provider 3.1 with our SAN EVA 6K. The first snapshot works well. The next ones failed with these errors :

Re: hpEVA VSS Hardware Provider error
The import operation (LocateLuns API) actually presents the shadow copy created to the local host, fails with the above error as the VSS Hardware Provider is unable to find the HAB port WWNs of the host. This is needed to present the shadow copy LUN to the obtained host WWN. One suggestion is if you could download the MS utility fcinfo -
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=73d7b879-55b2-4629-8734-b0698096d3b1&displaylang=en
This utility initializes the HBA API and also displays the details of the HBA present in the host.
This helps to check if HBAs are detected, also please run this utility couple of times and then try to perform the VSS back up operation. It should work fine.
