HSG80 disk i/o error
Hi,
I have two disk enclosures connected to an hsg80 controller. The storage is partitioned into various arrays. This hsg80 controller is connected to an IBM SVC unit.
The svc unit reports disk errors on one of its managed disks (on the hsg80). This managed disk corresponds to a specific array of four disks, with one disk on each side of the two enclosures. No other errors are shown, and the disks are showing green.
I guess that one of the disks is starting to fail and the svc software has caught the error before the hsg80, as I have run the fmu on the controller and nothing is shown.
Can you suggest other things I can try to find where the problem lies?
Looking forward to your replies.
