iSCSI not seeing volumes on a AJ750A expansion shelf

First post here so please be nice :smileywink:

I have an MSA2012i G1 duel controller unit and recently attached an AJ750A expansion shelf while it was all turned on.

The SMU web page displays the new enclosure and I can see all 12 new drives.

I have created a new vdisk (RAID50) and a couple of volumes and mapped the LUNs to my ESXi 4.1 hosts.

But when I scan for new volumes on the ESXi hosts, they dont see these new volumes.

I have tried various mappings on these new volumes and even tried with the MS initiator on my PC but cant see these new volumes.

Any thing I can try or doing wrong here?

After putting on the latest firmware, which restarts the controllers, I can now see my new LUNs :smileyvery-happy:
