Lost root password for 2/8v switch

How do you recover/reset the root password of a 2/8v Storageworks SAN switch?

Normally, Contact HP. Did you change all the account passwords? Including factory? If you cnaged them all you will most likely need to rma the switch component. That is HP has an internal process to reset the pw on a switch. There use to be a Brocade process but it was specific to a switch and the OS it was running.
