Missing one parameter while using SMU to configure email on MSA 1060/2060/2062 resolved!

Resolution for error indicating that the command is missing at least one parameter while configuring/reconfiguring email on MSA 1060/2060/2062 for firmware IN210P002 :

When using the Storage Management Utility (SMU) to initially configure or reconfigure email parameters on HPE MSA 1060/2060/2062 Storage running firmware version IN210P002, users may encounter an error indicating that the command is missing at least one parameter. This issue prevents the SMU from correctly sending the required parameters for email configuration.

Scope: This issue affects the following HPE MSA Storage systems using firmware version IN210P002:

• HPE MSA 1060 Storage
• HPE MSA 2060 Storage
• HPE MSA 2062 Storage

Hi

The problem with configuring email parameters in the MSAXX60 series is that only

from CLI you can configure the notification level (say "warninig" and above).

so you need to use the CLI anyway. I hope HPE will make it possible to do it from SMU
