MSA 1000 / SQL questions

Are there any recommendations regarding the array accelarator being disabled when the unit is being used for a clustered Win2k/SQL server. I have read that write caching should be disabled on a cluster even if it is battery backed up.
Also are there any recommended stripe sizes when creating the array for an SQL server.
PS I have a redundant array controller and two internal hubs also
