MSA 1000 Windows 2008

Hi,

Running a windows 2008 with a MSA1000 for backup purposes.

Got the following strange thing:

I create a LUN on it. About 1.6 TB raid 5.
The MSA1000 has two controllers. Now when i do a rescan in Windows it says it sees 2 disk? how is that possible? It's only one lune but it's stating in windows that it exist 2 times.

The strange thing is i can create volumes on both (disk) (luns). Now when i reboot the windows 2008 machine it brings 1 offline :). So okay that's good. But why see two disks?

Do you have two paths to two controllers? If yes, you will see two voulumes on disk manager.
