msa 2012I and jumbo frames issue
My equipment - 680 G5 blade w/ NC373M nic, HP Gbe2c switch, msa 2012 iscsi storage. Attempting to set jumbo frames, have made the config change on the san. Setting the jumbo packet on the nic to 4088 works fime - but when I attempt to set it to 9014 the balde freezes hard and requires a reboot. After reboot the event log contains the following:
Connection to the target was lost. The initiator will attempt to retry the connection.
and
The initiator could not send an ISCSI PDU.
Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give me. I'm running a sql server on the san and would like to utilize jumbo frames.
