Query: MSA 2040 Drive Compatibility

I need to extend storage capacity in HPE - 2040 storage. it has existing SAS drive HPE 1.8TB SAS 10K SFF SC 512e MV HDD part no. 872481-B21 and i received new HDD HPE 1.8TB SAS 10K SFF SC 512e MV HDD part no. 872481-K21. i just wanted to confirm that is HPE 1.8TB SAS 10K SFF SC 512e MV HDD part no. 872481-K21 compitible with HPE - 2040 storage.

I want to use Part Code - 872481-K21 along with Part Code -  872481-B21 to extend storage capacity. is it supported ? also can anyone priovide me a link to check all compitible part Code list with HPE - 2040 storage.

Short Answer: No
The 872481-B21 is a "Smart Carrier" drive and the drive carrier will not fit in the MSA 2040 enclosure.
Of interest the 872481-B21 and 872481-K21 should be near identical drives with the same drive carrier, neither of these will have the correct drive carrier to fit in the MSA 2040 enclosure.
