Dear communtiy,
we received several MSA Storage units where the default user manage (pw: !manage) is not working.
Is there any way HPE would configure something else than the default user described in the user guide?
Thanks for any information.

SolutionHi,
MSA 2050 systems that are restored to defaults will no longer include default user names and passwords for logging in to the system. When upgrading to VL270P003-01 version, either existing local user or default user accounts will remain intact and can be used as before. For more information, see HPE MSA Log In Changes (https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00093685en_us) for MSA Firmware versions VE270P003 and VL270P003 and later.
Thanks
