MSA 2060 with SAS add shelf

Hi, sorry if this has been answered befor. We have a MSA2060 SAS and need to add a new shelf.

Can this be done "Hot", that is just pluggerd in while the stack it in service.

Also do I need to cosider the firmware versions on the the old and new shelves.

This is supporting storage for a vmware servers.

Nothing mentioned in these documents about how to do this!!!

Cording to the Installation guide, in the "Controller enclosure—rear panel layout", yo can find the next note:

"NOTE Storage enclosures support hot-swap replacement of controller modules, PCMs, disk modules, and I/O modules.
Hot-add of disk enclosures is also supported."
