MSA 2062 write intensive SSD's

Hi All,  i wonder why the only SSD's (2.5") for a MSA 2062  are read intensive?    i am looking to spec a MSA  - there workload in perfmon is mainly write.   What would be the best layout of SSD's for write perfomance ?

thanks

Re: Query: MSA 2062 write intensive SSD's

thanks - but still unsure - it seems RI SSD's to be the only choice,   i wonder have they also got rid of the archive tier as 10k are the lowest availible :

Sorry our Bot is not always helpful
MSA 2060 all LFF drives are 7.2k and Archive tier,  all 10k/15k are SFF and standard tier, SSDs are really only valuable as SFF but some LFF (converter carrier) do exist.
RI SSDs are the only option available.
MSA started using SSDs with the MSA Gen4 products and were first introduced with what would now be WRITE INTENSIVE drives.  Gen5 introduced the Mix-Use capacities and RI.  MSA Gen6 only uses RI.  The cost of RI are as expected much less than MU or WI.  The experiences we have with the previous generations have led to the endurance of RI only available.  There is a good explanation of why in the MSA Virtual Storage Technical Guide:  https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00103247enw
See the SSD Endurance section and lifetime of the SSDs that can be achieved.
