Hi, I have a quick question about RAID configuration. Is it possible to create a RAID group (specifically MSA DP+) that spans multiple enclosures? In this case, there are two.
For example, in an MSA 2070 LFF with 24 x 20TB drives installed in different enclosures, could those drives be combined into a single MSA DP+ disk group?
According to the NinjaOnline tool, this is possible and would result in 351.67 TB. Is this correct?

Yes and yes
The MSA-DP+ disk-group can be up to 128 drives and can span multiple enclosures. Only 4 MSA-DP+ disk-groups can be created in a pool so making larger MSA-DP+ disk-groups is recommended. Not to mention the other benefits of larger disk-groups.
The MSA-Sizer (Ninja Online) tool has gone through many iterations to get the expected capacity numbers correct. If you configured a Gen7 it should be exact. Be careful to note if the capacity is stated in Base10 or Base2 to align your expectations (eg. TB vs TiB). Also review the MSA 2070 Best Practices guide for recommended spare-capacity.
