"restore defaults" too does not work.
One by one, we removed a controller and tried only with the other one but that too has not helped.
Can somebody suggest something?
Thanks.

Re: MSA G2 2000FC Dual Controller Array gone bad
hi,
Insert controller B in the slot A controller position and just boot with one controller and see if that works.
Once done then you can insert the second.

Re: MSA G2 2000FC Dual Controller Array gone bad
Thanks Johan and Sudhakar.
Swapped the controllers and tried with only 1 controller in the array at a time, but it didn't help. Status is still the same.

BTW, the manual says:
Make sure the enclosures and associated data host were
powered on in this order: first the drive enclosures, then
the controller enclosure, then the data host.
Another manual says:
To power on the system:
1.
Press the power switches at the back of each drive enclosure to the
On position. Wait several minutes to make sure that all drives have
had time to spin up so that they can be recognized by the array
controller.
2.
Press the power switches at the back of the array controller
enclosure to the On position.
How do we do so? There is only one switch on the rear side close to each Power Supply. We dont see any separate switch for the enclosure. Or is the above for a separate enclosure, if any?
One of the Power Supply has also failed - its LED is Solid Orange.
In all situations (i.e. when either controller is in the array or when both controllers are in the array) - the LED indicates Fault/Service Required. Believe this is because 1 PS has failed. But should not matter as far as there is 1 PS which is working fine - correct?
Thanks.
