MSA1000
I have a msa1000 with 146gb drives and want to replace them with 300gb disks. My question is can I change one drive at a time in the raidset and then expand the drive or do I have to backup data and start fresh.

Re: MSA1000
Yes you can, always remember to backup anyway. Only do one drive at a time and make sure you let the RAID set rebuild completley before you pull out the next drive.
Once you have replaced all the drives, you can expand the LUN's and the RAID volume, then expand how the OS sees the LUN.
