MSA1050 - replacing a non-working hard drive with another one

Hello,

I use disk storage MSA1050 with 1.2 TB disks: Model-EG001200JWFVA; Revision-HPD2; option part number-J9F48A;  RAID6

Can I change non-working hard drive with another of the same option part number - J9F48A, but with different  Model or Revision ?

Hi,

for replacement only the Spare Number (S/P#) cont, if it is the same it is fine.

If the Options Part# is the same I assume, the Spare# is also the same.
