The 36GB drives would be our choice, as disk space is not the concern, rather spindle count.
I just wish they would release these NOW. They ran SPEC & TPC tests on the 15k SFF drives back in October, but haven't released them to the public yet... It's frustrating. The 10k drives were phenomenal in file transfer speed (contiguous I/O), but were still slower than 15k U320 in random I/O.

Andrew, may be this not only concern of drive speed, but also of SAS/SA controller?

P600 with 256BBWC with latest firmware/drivers as of about 2 months ago. I'm going to try and get a few P800s and MSA60s to demo tomorrow. See how well that performs in the same tasks.
