MSA2000 Snapshot win 2005 virtual server R2 SP1

Windows virtual server 20005 R2 SP1 and Volume Shadow Copy Service allows life backup (and restore) of virtual machines.
Virtual images are placed on the MSA2000.

Is the HP MSA2000 snapshot software compatible with this? Does it support the new Virtual Server VSS Writer service (VS Writer)?
We use the MSA2012i: storage controller code version = J210P03.
