MSA2040 network access
Hi all,
We have been given (by a TDA) a MSA2040 to support at a remote site. My question is what ports do I need to ask to be allowed via firewalls to allow web and cli access from my office. The user guide mentions HTTPS and SSH, therefore 443 and 22, do I need to request anything else.
Many Thanks,
Colin

Re: MSA2040 network access
It depends if you need snmp or mail notification, for example.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: MSA2040 network access
Hi Torsten,
Thanks very much for the prompt reply. At the moment I am just concerned with initial management connection, web and cli. I will be asking for SMTP as it will be necessary to configure email alerts to another team.
Regards,
Colin
