P2000 MSA - The enclosure is degraded
After power failure in data center, the P2000 MSA was rebooted SMU shows error: The enclosure is degraded; see health and health reason for individual components. Do not see any hardware failures on physical inspection.
This is a Single controller and firmware is older version:
Storage Controller A up
Storage Controller B not installed

Re: P2000 MSA - The enclosure is degraded
Morning,
Can you connect to CLI through some hyperterminal (Putty) and check show system?
You should be able to find reason which component degreaded your P2000.
Kind Regards
Slav

Re: P2000 MSA - The enclosure is degraded
I would say take downtime and do a proper power cycle of the MSA.
Also check if single controller mode is enabled in MSA or not. You can check with "show cache-parameters" command where from output you look for "Operation Mode".
You can also login to CLI and check "show system" for any current issue. Alternatively capture MSA logs and log a support case with HPE to verify your system health.
Hope this helps!
Regards

Re: P2000 MSA - The enclosure is degraded
Hy, my friend
If you issue the command show enclosure-status, you will have a great chance of finding the fault with greater detail, and there will also be a warning led on some component of the Storage
