Problem Raid5 P2000 G3
Hello, I had an issue with the HP P2000 G3. Unfortunately, last night two of my RAID5 hard drives failed, and in the morning, I found the vdisk in quarantine.
Unfortunately, I only had one spare hard drive, and I had to order another one.
So, I replaced one of the disks. Do you think I will cause data damage if I try to remove the vdisk from quarantine? If I try, I get the following message: "Removing this vdisk from quarantine will take the vdisk offline and could result in irrevocable data loss."
I thought about moving the virtual machine to another functioning vdisk because it belongs to a different RAID, but if I try, I receive the following message, and I'm afraid of data corruption: "Before copying the volume, the source volume should be unmounted, or other action taken to ensure that there is no host I/O to it."
How do you recommend proceeding? I urgently need to access my virtual machines.
Thank you.

Re: Problem Raid5 P2000 G3
Hi,
RAID 5 can sustain only single hard drive failure. If 2 disks in RAID 5 vdisk has failed at the same time the chances of bringing vdisk online is quite less. Were both the disks in failed state or left over state? Do not replace the disks when vdisk is in quarantine state. This will further reduce the chances of bringing the vdisk online at least temporarily to take data back up. The best option in this scenario would be to log an HPE support case and get the logs reviewed.
