solaris format does not see presented volumes
I have checked all the obvious things. Hardware is OK. Zones were created properly and the volume was presented to Solaris. I rebooted with boot -r. On boot, the HBAs are initialized and linked and the drivers are loaded.
When typing format in unix, I do not see the newly created volumes.
Is there anything else in Solaris that needs to be done to recognize the volumes?
Thanks!

Try running devfsadm.
Also, have you loaded Secure path, and what version?
What version is your host kit?
