Transfer Storage Server to Cluster
Hi all, not sure if anyone as ever tried this or if this thread is in the correct location. But here Goes.
I have a Storage server NAS4000s called NASSRV1 with a bunch of presented disks from an MSA1500cs. The presented disks have many shares on them. I want to replace the storage server as its seen better days and transfer the disks and all the shares to the MSA headers that are configured in a cluster setup.
My question is If i create a Network name called NASSRV1 and an IP resource for the excact IP can i then import the disks to the resource within the cluster.
Hope that makes sense
M Martin
