vdisk scrub job failed
Vdisk scrub job failed. (vdisk: vdisk00, SN: 00c0ffd8224d0000e26f844a00000000) 1 parity mismatches were detected. It is imperative that you contact technical support. DATA MAY BE AT RISK!
I have update the firmware to R25 and have deletete and recreated the vdisk and still getting the error.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: vdisk scrub job failed
The command was run without stopping host access. Just make sure ther is no scrub activity or else it will fail.

Re: vdisk scrub job failed
I have used the above commands succesfully in the past before, but we upgraded to the latest firmware version (M112R14-02) not so long ago.
After typing the 'verfiy vdisk
"This command will verify data on the array and make parity match the data in all
cases.
Please refer to the Reference Guide (Best Practices for Handling Scrub Issues) for details.
To continue please enter the passcode found in the user documentation. (
abort | proper passcode=continue)"
So I have searched all three documents from the User Guide, the CLI User guide and the Reference Guide to no avail. I assume this was added because of the bug with a few firmware versions ago that I myself experienced where there were erroneous 'errors' with this parity mis-match.
So where can I find this code or what it is? Or is there a new CLI line to do a 'force fix' as it were to a vdisk verify?
Thanks.

Re: vdisk scrub job failed
Or, you may find it in a guide on dothill.com
As far as I can tell the P2000 series is the R/Evolution 3000-series
While the MSA2000 G2 is the R/Evolution 2002-series. Probably then the MSA2000 G1 is the R/Evolution 2000
I may be wrong though it looks like that according to this:

Re: vdisk scrub job failed
Thanks for that, 'Parity' seems to be working, it accepted the password and started the verify.
Thanks again, means I do not have to call 13-11-47 and battle out distored VOIP connections and the language barrier for something so simple.
