Where I can find official document that disk P/N: 787652-001 is suitable for HPE2050?
Hello everybody!
Where I can find official document that disk P/N: 787652-001 is suitable for HPE2050?
Our buyer department says that I have to show them the official announcement, document or article from HP where it says that the disks with P/N: 787652-001 that I want to budget are really suitable for HP MSA2050? Otherwise, they're denying me a budget for that =(
thx for any answers to help

@gabitaidarbek
The part-number you show, 787652-001, is the SPARE part number for the drive. This makes it hard to find in a 'front facing' document like an MSA QuickSpec. There are a couple places you can go which can help and I hope are enough for your budget folks.
1. The original top level SKU for this part is: J9F50A
You can go out to partsurfer.hpe.com and see the hierarchy/spare part matches
2. Go to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Parts Store: https://parts.hpe.com
Input the SPARE part number and the description states '1TB MSA SAS ....'
This particular drive went End Of Life quite a while ago (3+years) I would recommend against using this drive in new installation due to possible scarcity. eg in a year if a drive fails they may be very difficult to find. But a replacement may be exactly why you are looking for this drive. If adding storage, I would recommend J9F48A 1.2TB SAS drive (787648-001)
