WINDOWS 2003 BOOT FROM MSA2012I G2
Hello I have a question.
I bought two DL380G& servers and one MSA 2012I g2 dual controllers
I connected my servers using integrated nic directly to MSA controllers (without the use of switches)
The first question is whether it is possible to boot Windows 2003 from the nc382i card and msa2012i?
I've tried to follow the manual HP Broadcom iSCSI Boot User Guide for NC382x Adapters without results.
I've built a slipstreamed windows 2003 cd with nlite containing the Windows 2003 hotfix KB943295 hotfix kb Microsoft Storport and then I created two floppy as a guide.
But when I install Windows 2003 appears seguebte error 0x0000007b (inacesible boot device).
I wonder then if ms2012i g2 supports booting from SAN and what are the steps to implement it with Windows 2003.
I would also like to know if the Microsoft Clustering is supported with boot from san.
Thanks
Greeting
